Job summary

Fortress Information Security is seeking an Implementation Engineer to support end users during deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of Fortress Platform solutions. You will work with architects and clients to implement secure software, conduct UAT, and deploy releases across environments.

You will coordinate with project leaders and management, ensuring timely resolutions and high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment. Remote/hybrid options are available in this role.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in a customer-facing role with technical product knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple milestones and projects.
• Ability to learn complex software quickly.
• Proactive problem solving and independent thinking.
• Self-motivated with resourcefulness and discipline.
• Ability to interface with internal and external clients.
• Willingness to accept feedback and adapt accordingly.
• Experience with help desk software such as Zendesk or similar.
• Good time management and multi-tasking abilities.
• Strong documentation, presentation, and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial contact for application and system concerns from clients or staff.
• Develop training materials, customize solutions, and advise management on best practices for implementation.
• Lead testing and evaluation of new features prior to deployment.
• Guide the implementation process with advanced technical guidance.
• Diagnose and resolve complex software issues impacting security and operation.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to users and stakeholders.
• Manage escalations and coordinate with internal resources to resolve issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
