Job summary

Fortress Information Security is seeking an Implementation Engineer to support the Fortress Platform, implement configurations, and troubleshoot software solutions. The role focuses on hands-on implementation, user acceptance testing, and coordinating with architects, project leaders, and customers from a remote work setting.

You will ensure high-quality deployment across environments, while communicating effectively with stakeholders and assisting customers with complex technical issues.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in a customer-focused position involving technical knowledge of a company’s products and services.
• Professional written and interpersonal skills are essential when communicating with customers and clients.
• Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently.
• Ability to learn complex software and quickly pick up new technologies.
• Self-motivated with problem-solving aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Act as the initial point of contact for all application and system related concerns from clients or other employees.
• Develop training materials, customize solutions, and advise management on best practices for system implementation and support.
• Lead testing and evaluation of new features to ensure they meet standards before deployment.
• Guide the implementation process using advanced technical expertise.
• Diagnose and resolve complex software and system issues to maintain platform reliability and security.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to end users, colleagues, and senior management.
• Manage escalations and leverage internal resources to resolve issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
