Job summary

Fortress Information Security seeks a Solutions Engineer to bridge default product configurations to tailored cybersecurity solutions for government, utilities, and mission-critical customers. You will design, implement, and maintain innovative solutions that maximize customer value, acting as the guide between sales, product, and technical teams.

Minimum qualifications include 0-2 years in a Solutions Engineer role within cybersecurity, excellent communication, ability to translate client needs

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and consultation skills, able to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to understand client needs and provide effective technical solutions.
• Knowledge and experience with security protocols, technologies, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with sales, product, and customer success teams to understand client requirements and tailor solutions that meet their specific needs
• Designing and deploying solutions for cyber security risk management and cybersecurity asset attack surface management ecosystems
• Providing support during presales activities such as configuring sandbox environments and solution refinement
• Keeping abreast of new cybersecurity trends, technologies and threats and updating solutions accordingly
• Delivering technical presentations, training sessions, and demonstrations to clients and internal teams
• Participating in the testing and validation of new products and solutions
• Other duties as assigned
