Job summary

Fortress Information Security is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our remote team. You will bridge default product configurations to tailored solutions for government, utilities, and mission-critical customers, guiding AI-enabled processes to improve performance and decision-making.

You will collaborate with sales, product, and customer success to understand client needs, design and deploy security-focused solutions, and support presales activities while staying current on cybersecurity

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in a Solutions Engineer role within cybersecurity industry.
• Excellent communication and consultation skills; able to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to understand client needs and provide effective technical solutions.
• Knowledge and experience with security protocols, technologies, and standards.
• Strong project management skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to design, implement, and guide effective prompting strategies of AI-enabled processes to improve performance, efficiency, and decision-making across teams or functions
• Strong cybersecurity domain knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with sales, product, and customer success teams to understand client requirements and tailor solutions that meet their specific needs
• Designing and deploying solutions for cyber security risk management and cybersecurity asset attack surface management ecosystems
• Providing support during presales activities such as configuring sandbox environments and solution refinement
• Keeping abreast of new cybersecurity trends, technologies and threats and updating solutions accordingly
• Delivering technical presentations, training sessions, and demonstrations to clients and internal teams
• Participating in the testing and validation of new products and solutions
• Other duties as assigned
