Job summary

BestLife Emotional Health & Wellness Center is seeking a Massachusetts Impaired Driver (MID) Instructor to provide group and/or individual clinical services for participants mandated to complete the driver alcohol education program.

The role includes initial assessments, mid-point evaluations, and exit interviews, with involvement in curriculum development and coordination with probation officers, courts, and the DMV.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
• Experience and proficiency in substance use disorder treatment and recovery services.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide group and/or individual clinical services for court- or RMV-mandated participants.
• Complete initial assessments, mid-point evaluations, and exit interviews.
• Participate in curriculum development and provide documentation and consultation with probation officers, courts, and DMV.
• Assess participant needs, set recovery goals, and support goal implementation.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to coordinate treatment.
• Educate participants about community resources and recovery supports.
• Maintain knowledge of recovery-oriented practices through trainings and professional development.
• Complete required documentation and promptly report crises or incidents.
