Job summary

BestLife Emotional Health & Wellness Center seeks a Massachusetts Impaired Driver Instructor to provide group and individual clinical services for the 16-week driver education program. The MID Instructor conducts intake assessments and exit interviews and contributes to curriculum development and coordination with probation, courts, and the DMV.

Schedule is fully remote with flexible hours. Pay is $25–$30 per hour, depending on degree and licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in SW/psychology or independent licensure.
• Experience in substance use disorder treatment and recovery; knowledge of local resources.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of SUD and impact on functioning.
• Support participants in recovery goal setting and reduce recidivism.
• Assist in setting and implementing treatment goals for SUD and COD.
• Assess needs, stressors, and promote personal growth.
• Collaborate as part of interdisciplinary care team.
• Educate and connect participants to community resources and self-help groups.
• Maintain knowledge of recovery-oriented practices via trainings.
• Complete required documentation and promptly report crises.
