Job summary

NFI Massachusetts Inc. is seeking a Part Time Group Leader for the Massachusetts Impaired Driver Program (MID) in Haverhill, MA. The role focuses on leading weekly MID groups, documenting in the medical record, and reporting to the Probation Department, with groups often held remotely.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in social work or counseling (or BA with relevant experience) and has experience with substance use disorders. A flexible schedule and Zoom/Teams experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or counseling or BA with relevant experience.
• Experience with individuals diagnosed with substance use disorder.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and writing skills.
• Flexible schedule; evenings groups may be required.
• Experience with virtual services via Zoom or Teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaboration with collaterals and other natural supports.
• Completion of individual treatment plan.
• Facilitate group Services.
• Quarterly treatment reviews.
• Exit interviews with each client
• Crisis intervention and support as needed.
• Harm reduction and recovery/safety planning as needed.
• Referrals to outside communication resources.
• Participation in Monthly Staff Meeting and Supervision
