Job summary

Mental Health Association is seeking a Massachusetts Impaired Driving Intake Evaluator to join our outpatient clinic. This role focuses on comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments for individuals referred to the MID program and coordinating intake documentation for enrollment.

The ideal candidate has a behavioral health background, clinical assessment skills, and a commitment to treating diverse populations. Salary ranges reflect market rates for 40-hour weeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a behavioral health and addiction field is required.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred; additional compensation available for bilingual candidates.

Responsibilities

• Complete a Massachusetts standardized biopsychosocial comprehensive assessment at first meeting.
• Complete required evidence-based screenings (nicotine, tuberculosis, health risk assessment).
• Prepare court evaluation letters for probation officers/referral sources.
• Handle administrative documentation (authorizations, consents, enrollment forms).
• Submit documentation timely to meet regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Billing Department on payment options.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team and participate in licensing/accreditation processes.
• Serve as liaison to service systems and agencies to build relationships and funding sources.
• Pursue professional growth through conferences and trainings; represent the agency at meetings.
