Job summary

High Point & Affiliated Organizations seeks a part-time MID Fee for Service Facilitator to run psychoeducation groups for the Massachusetts Impaired Driving program in New Bedford, MA. Responsibilities include facilitating groups after 5 PM on weekdays and weekends, performing intakes, documenting progress, and coordinating with MID staff remotely.

Qualified candidates will have advanced education in clinical fields and substance abuse counseling experience, with knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a related field with supervised substance abuse counseling experience.
• Bachelor's with 2+ years supervised experience in substance abuse counseling accepted.
• Certification/licensure with 4,000 hours supervised counseling including 220 hours supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and security of residents and facility.
• Notify Program Manager/Authorities in event of a crisis.
• Work closely with Program Support Staff.
• Facilitate MID groups using assigned curriculum.
• Complete Intakes as needed with clients.
• Complete Progress Reports for clients in group for Probation Department.
• Record Group Notes in EHR after each group.
• Attend clinical supervision and trainings.
• All other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.
