Job summary

argenx is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) in the United States to serve as the reimbursement and patient access specialist for healthcare providers in the assigned territory. You will educate on reimbursement, navigate medical and pharmacy benefits, and collaborate with internal teams to develop access strategies while traveling extensively across the geography.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of reimbursement, patient access, market access, specialty pharmacy, or related healthcare experience.
• Demonstrated expertise supporting therapies reimbursed under medical and pharmacy benefits, including Medicare/Medicaid and commercial insurance.
• Strong communication, presentation, organizational, problem-solving, and customer engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across cross-functional teams to drive patient access solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary reimbursement and patient access resource for healthcare providers and staff within the assigned territory, building trusted relationships through in-person and virtual engagement.
• Educate customers on patient access, reimbursement, coverage policies, prior authorizations, claims, appeals, billing and coding considerations, and specialty pharmacy processes.
• Develop account-specific access strategies and guidance on reimbursement challenges to navigate barriers in accordance with company policy.
• Manage complex reimbursement issues and escalations with urgency and professionalism while sharing customer insights to inform strategy.
