Job summary

argenx seeks a Field Reimbursement Manager to optimize patient access and payer strategy across the US. You will educate providers on reimbursement pathways, manage prior authorizations, and collaborate with Patient Services and Market Access to resolve complex access issues.

The role requires 5+ years in reimbursement or market access, with strong communication and cross-functional teaming skills, in a fast-paced biotech environment. Travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 5+ years of reimbursement, patient access, market access, specialty pharmacy, or related health-care experience.
• Demonstrated expertise supporting therapies reimbursed under both medical and pharmacy benefits, including Medicare/Medicaid and commercial insurance.
• Proven ability to build productive relationships with healthcare providers and office staff, with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across cross-functional teams to drive patient access solutions.
• Experience in neurology, immunology, rare disease, specialty biologics, and complex therapeutic areas.
• Knowledge of buy-and-bill and specialty pharmacy distribution models and payer management strategies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary reimbursement and patient access resource for healthcare providers and staff within the assigned territory, building trusted relationships.
• Educate customers on patient access, reimbursement, coverage policies, prior authorizations, claims, appeals, billing and coding considerations.
• Develop account-specific access strategies and guidance on reimbursement challenges to improve provider and patient access.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address access barriers and deliver a consistent customer experience.
