Job summary

Leica Biosystems, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a high-impact Regional Sales Leader to drive immunohistochemistry revenue and lead a peak-performance team across the territory.

You will recruit and coach representatives, build capability in territory planning, strategic selling, and funnel management, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and growth. Remote work is eligible for this role, with travel 50-75% as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of sales leadership experience or equivalent commercial experience.
• Prior people leadership or sales management experience with coaching, performance management, and talent development.
• Experience in capital sales, contract negotiation, high-level selling, or matrixed environments.
• Ability to influence across customers, direct reports, cross-functional teams, and senior stakeholders.
• Experience using Salesforce.com or other CRM to manage funnel, forecast, and activity.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional sales execution to achieve revenue, sales mix, profit, and market share goals across the Immunohistochemistry portfolio.
• Develop and lead a high-performing team of sales representatives and specialists through clear performance expectations, coaching, field engagement, and disciplined commercial operating mechanisms.
• Recruit, onboard, develop, and retain commercial talent while building capability across territory planning, strategic selling, funnel management, customer engagement, and competitive conversion execution.
• Drive consistent use of Salesforce.com, funnel reviews, forecasting processes, and DBS commercial tools to improve visibility, accountability, and execution quality across the region.
• Build and maintain senior-level customer relationships across strategic accounts, including hospital leadership, laboratory administration, pathology, procurement, materials management, contracts, and other key decision makers.
• Partner cross-functionally with Applications, Service, Marketing, Commercial Operations, and other business partners to support customer retention, new business growth, implementation success, and sustained customer satisfaction.
• Translate market trends, competitive dynamics, customer feedback, and regional business insights into actionable growth plans and leadership recommendations.
