Lisinski Law Firm seeks an Operational Staff Attorney to review immigration applications and filings under supervision. You will support client document preparation, communicate with clients (via interpreters), and assist with attorney-of-record responsibilities to keep families united.

Ideal candidates hold a J.D. from an ABA-accredited school, state bar admission, and 0–1 year post-J.D. experience. Training is provided; role offers remote work within the United States and a structured schedule.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Active membership in good standing with a state bar.
• EOIR number preferred or commitment to obtain one within the first month of employment.
• 0–1 year of post-J.D. experience; training provided; immigration experience not required.
• Interest in immigration law and commitment to helping families stay together.

Responsibilities

• Serve as attorney of record on USCIS matters and immigration court matters.
• Support development and implementation of legal strategy with senior attorneys' guidance.
• Review draft immigration applications, RFEs, appeals, and court filings.
• Evaluate filings for accuracy and alignment with case strategy; edit as needed.
• Coordinate corrections and information requests with team; ensure attorney review before filing.
• Communicate with clients through interpreters; document material communications.
• Attend master calendar hearings as needed with guidance from seniors.
• Meet daily goals for attorney review tasks with accuracy and professional judgment.
• Monitor deadlines, prioritize work, escalate risks to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain organized case records and protect confidential client information.
