A leading technology integration contractor is seeking an experienced AV Design Engineer to create functional audiovisual designs for commercial and educational environments. This fully remote position requires occasional travel. Responsibilities include client consultations, system documentation using AutoCAD, and providing technical support during installation phases. Ideal candidates will have at least 5-7 years of AV design experience and strong problem-solving skills. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, along with preferred certifications such as AVIXA CTS-D.
Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in commercial AV system design and integration.
In-depth understanding of control systems like Crestron and Extron.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
Conduct client discovery meetings to assess technical requirements.
Create comprehensive AV system documentation.
Serve as a technical Subject Matter Expert for installation teams.
