Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks an Identity Platform Engineering Manager to shape the strategy, engineering, and operations of Ford's Identity and Access Management platform across workforce, dealers, suppliers, customers, workloads, and AI agent identities.

This leader will start as a strategic individual contributor with broad enterprise influence and will build and lead a global platform engineering team to secure and enable every interaction across Ford's ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 10+ years designing, building, or leading enterprise-scale Identity and Access Management platforms.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD, and Google Cloud IAM.
• Expertise across Identity Governance, CIAM, PAM, Authentication & Federation, and workload/agent identities.
• Experience leading large-scale enterprise transformation programs.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel 10–15% to Ford offices.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute Ford's enterprise Identity and Access Management strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Establish identity as a foundational platform enabling growth, experiences, and innovation.
• Drive Zero Trust adoption across workforce, dealers, suppliers, customers, workloads, and AI agents.
• Partner with security, privacy, compliance, and tech leaders to strengthen resilience.
• Lead modernization of identity platforms using cloud-native architectures and platform engineering practices.
• Deliver secure, scalable identity services for employees, partners, dealers, suppliers, and customers.
• Implement SRE practices focused on resiliency, observability, and availability.
• Mentor and build a global, high-performing engineering team.
