Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks an Identity Platform Engineering Manager to define and drive digital trust across Ford's global ecosystem. You will shape strategy, engineering, and operations for the Identity and Access Management platform spanning workforce, dealers, suppliers, customers, workloads, and AI agents.

You'll build and lead a 24/7 global engineering team, mature cloud-native identity services, and govern security across enterprise identity capabilities with a strong focus on Zero Trust and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years designing, building, or leading enterprise IAM platforms.
• Strong experience with Entra ID, Azure AD, and Google Cloud IAM.
• Expertise in OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, FIDO2, SPIFFE, OPA, or similar.
• Willingness to travel 10–15% to Ford offices (Dearborn, MI).

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute Ford's identity strategy with a multi-year roadmap.
• Build and lead a global IAM engineering platform team.
• Drive AI-powered identity innovations and secure lifecycle management.
• Modernize identity platforms with cloud-native architectures and IaC/CI-CD.
• Partner with security, compliance, and enterprise tech leaders to strengthen resilience.
