Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking an Identity Platform Engineering Manager to shape and run Ford's enterprise IAM strategy across employees, dealers, suppliers, customers, workloads, and AI agents.

You will start as a strategic individual contributor with broad enterprise influence and build a global platform engineering team to enable secure, scalable identity services and 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing, building, or leading enterprise-scale IAM platforms.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD and Google Cloud IAM.
• Strong knowledge of identity disciplines: IGA, CIAM, PAM, Authentication & Federation.
• Expertise in Zero Trust and modern identity security principles.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute Ford's enterprise IAM strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Lead modernization of identity platforms with cloud-native architectures and APIs.
• Build and lead a 24/7 global IAM engineering team for employees, dealers, suppliers and customers.
• Drive AI-enabled identity lifecycle management and automated testing practices.
• Partner with cybersecurity, privacy and compliance to strengthen enterprise resilience.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field
