Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking an Identity & Access Management Security Engineer to join the SSO/Federation engineering team. You will develop, test, and integrate IAM solutions across Oracle OAM, PingOne AIC, Entra ID, and OAuth/SAML/SCIM integrations to secure access to resources.

You will troubleshoot complex identity-related issues, monitor IAM systems, and train staff on IAM processes. This role emphasizes security engineering and collaboration with IT teams and partners."

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Information Security, IAM Engineering and/or Systems Analysis.
• 3 years of IAM concepts: identity life cycle management, role-based access control, authentication, authorization, entitlements, and permissions.
• 3 years of experience with IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Saviynt, OIM/OAM, Ping Identity, CyberArk, Duo, Entra, and related tools.
• Proficiency with programming and scripting languages: Java, C#, C++, Java BeanShell, XML, Unix shell scripting, JavaScript, PowerShell, Python.
• Familiarity with AD/LDAP, Oracle, SQL Server, Linux/Unix, Windows, Apache/IIS, WebSphere/WebLogic/JBoss, and SAML/OAuth/OIDC/SCIM.

Responsibilities

• Develops, tests, implements, and integrates IAM systems and solutions; performs basic integration testing.
• Troubleshoots identities, systems, access, authentication, authorization, entitlements, and permissions issues.
• Maintains IAM systems through patching, operation, monitoring, and incident handling.
• Facilitates IAM capability adoption, training, communication, and education.
• Uses reusable strategies and frameworks to support enterprise IAM services.
