Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Idaho-focused legal team. The role supports routine civil litigation and workers’ compensation matters, working largely remotely with occasional appearances in Idaho.

The position emphasizes collaboration with Claims Representatives and insured clients, leveraging e‑discovery and case management tools to drive efficient case handling while maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the Idaho bar in good standing.
• Knowledge of insurance law, workers’ compensation, and/or No Fault law.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation from discovery through resolution.
• Provide clear legal opinions and strategic advice to Claims Representatives and insured clients.
• Utilize e‑discovery and case management tech to streamline processes and reduce costs.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate legal risks with clients and senior counsel.
• Ensure all pleadings and motions are accurate and compliant with standards.
• Provide timely updates to insured clients and claims professionals.
• Collaborate with Staff Legal and Global Legal & Compliance teams to improve efficiency.
• Uphold high ethical standards and licensing requirements.
