Maximus is seeking a Senior IBM COBOL Developer to support our IRS client in a fully remote role. Candidates must have an active IRS Moderate-Risk Background Investigation (MBI). The position requires at least five years of IBM COBOL experience and strong DB2/CICS skills.

The role involves leading design, coding, testing, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant tax processing solutions. Excellent communication and client-support abilities are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 5+ years of professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Active IRS Moderate-Risk Background Investigation (MBI) is required.
• At least four years of IBM COBOL programming experience.
• Experience with DB2, IBM DB2 utilities, and CICS preferred.
• Strong communication and client-support skills.
