Job summary

Alignerr is seeking an IAM Analyst (AI Training) to analyze IAM, SSO, and access control scenarios for training frontier AI models. This is a fully remote, flexible hourly contract with 10–40 hours per week, allowing you to set your own schedule and work from anywhere.

You will assess RBAC, least-privilege, and access reviews; identify misconfigurations; provide structured feedback to improve how AI reasons about security, with opportunities for ongoing collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with IAM, SSO, or enterprise identity platforms.
• Solid understanding of RBAC, least-privilege principles, and access review processes.
• Familiar with how identity failures occur in real environments and how attackers exploit them.
• Able to think like both a defender and an adversary when evaluating access scenarios.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working asynchronously.

Responsibilities

• Analyze IAM, SSO, and access control scenarios to identify weaknesses and misconfigurations.
• Classify permission issues, privilege escalation paths, and identity-related security failures.
• Review zero-trust architectures and access design decisions for accuracy and soundness.
• Generate and validate realistic identity security data used to train and evaluate frontier AI models.
• Provide structured expert feedback that directly improves how AI reasons about enterprise security.
