Alignerr is seeking a Cloud Security Analyst (AI Training) to assess cloud security scenarios and help train AI models to reason about cloud risks. The role focuses on misconfigurations, IAM issues, blast radius, and production-grade insights from real-world cloud environments.

You will contribute to improving AI safety in cloud contexts. The position is an hourly contract offering 10–40 hours per week and fully remote work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud environments in production.
• Solid understanding of cloud IAM, networking, storage, and container security across AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with real-world misconfigurations and security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cloud security scenarios across AWS, GCP, and Azure to identify risks and failure patterns.
• Review and evaluate IAM configurations, networking setups, storage policies, and container security issues.
• Classify security gaps, misconfigurations, and cloud-related failures based on real-world impact.
• Validate and improve AI-generated security reasoning so it reflects real-world cloud incidents.
• Provide structured feedback to help AI systems reason more reliably about cloud risk.
