Job summary

Voith US Inc. is seeking a Senior Sales Manager - Hydraulics to drive direct sales and provide technical backup across hydraulic drives, systems and pumps in the mid-western U.S. You will coordinate with inside sales, customers, and factory teams to meet growth targets in OEMs and end users.

The role requires 5+ years in sales with hydraulics, travel up to 50%, and strong knowledge of electrical drives and automation. Remote USA with opportunities across regional markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certification of Fluid power is an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of sales and service-related experience.
• Ability to read and analyze technical drawings, P&ID and controls, and interpret technical documents.
• Knowledge about electrical drives, automation and hydraulic drives is an asset.
• Up to 50% travel may be required.
• Familiar with MS Office, SAP, Navision and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for sales in the mid-western U.S. for new products, aftermarket, services and retrofit for hydraulic linear drives, systems and pumps.
• Provide technical backup to inside sales and quotations.
• Understand customer requirements in OEMs, distributors, end users and integrators in heavy machine tools, press, milling sectors.
• May provide field service/assistance for Voith pumps and systems.
• Interface with product group managers to achieve industry goals.
• Visit customers and negotiate contracts with factory support.
• Help resolve customer issues within the territory and for the group.
