Job summary

Copeland is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to support assigned OEM customers with expertise in refrigeration, HVAC and lighting controls. You will learn Copeland Cold Chain products, apply solutions, and partner with the Account Executive to specify, implement and expand controls.

You will collaborate across product, engineering and services teams to deliver technical specifications, drive OEM opportunities, and support deployment of controls and related services.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• At least two years in food retail/foodservice product development, engineering, field service, or technical support.
• Knowledge of Copeland control systems for Food Retail/Foodservice.
• Hands-on experience with Food Retail/Foodservice Building Management Software.
• Experience in a technical role in the food retail/foodservice industry or similar.
• Strong analytical, coordination and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel 40-50%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted customer partner and technical SME for refrigeration, HVAC and lighting controls and services.
• Act as OEM application expert and collaborate with Account Executive.
• Identify market trends, competitive capabilities and customer needs.
• Create high-level technical requirements for new OEM opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy controls and services.
• Support land, implement, and expand sales cycles with customers.
