Job summary
Copeland is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to act as a trusted technical advisor for refrigeration, HVAC and lighting controls in food retail/foodservice. You will partner with the sales team on customer engagements, draft high-level OEM requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy controls and related services.

Qualifications
- BS degree in Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent industry experience.
- Two years in food retail or foodservice product development, engineering, field service or tech support.
- Knowledge of Copeland control systems for Food Retail/Foodservice and related software.
Responsibilities
- Serve as trusted customer partner and technical SME for refrigeration, HVAC and lighting controls and related services.
- Collaborate with sales on customer engagements and coordinate with Solution Architecture, Product Management and Systems Engineering as needed.
- Draft high-level technical requirements for new OEM opportunities, including hardware BOM, integrations, control panels and field services.
- Work with Copeland teams to ensure successful deployment of controls and integrations.
- Maintain a customer-focused approach throughout land, implement and expand phases of the sales cycle.
