Job summary

Trane Technologies seeks a Remote Support Specialist to help deliver digital system services across the Upper Midwest and beyond. The role focuses on remote troubleshooting, commissioning, upgrades, and ongoing support for Trane Digital Systems, with occasional on-site work when required.

The ideal candidate brings HVAC/Controls background, BAS experience, and proficiency with MS Office and handheld devices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 7 years HVAC/Controls experience preferred.
• BAS (building automation) 5-7 years experience preferred.
• Strong operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote support, troubleshooting, upgrades, and investigations of Trane Digital Systems.
• Support commissioning, programming, and updating of graphics and communications links.
• Document digital analytics and sequence validation; assist on-site when needed.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing and resolving equipment issues remotely.
• Coordinate with team leader and customers to define requirements for remote services.
