Job summary

The HV Training and Technical Support Specialist role supports daily OCC/O&M processes and develops HV training materials, with the position being fully remote.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of Testing and Commissioning experience.
• Demonstrated ability to train and develop others.
• Recognize hazards and mitigate using proper tools and procedures.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Able to work on a rotational on-call schedule (weekends/after-hours).
• CPR/First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Emphasize safety as the top priority and enforce safety standards.
• Maintain a safe working environment following company and industry safety procedures.
• Develop HV technical training materials with the Technical Support Supervisor.
• Support the OCC with Power Systems Analysis and Operational guidance.
• Assist in preparation and approval of test plans for technicians or subcontractors.
• Review and/or approve HV Test Reports for Acceptance and Maintenance testing.
• Provide On-Call and daytime HV support to OCC and field technicians.
• Provide remote support for EPC startup, commissioning, and O&M activities.
