The role acts as the technical owner from BD kickoff through 10% design, aligning design, scope, schedule, risk, and assumptions before execution in a fully remote capacity. The candidate will lead development of 10% design deliverables, review technical exhibits, and coordinate inputs from multiple stakeholders to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is required.
• Proficiency in electrical design software including AutoCAD/ETAP is expected.
• Understanding of substation design principles and relevant industry standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the 10% design of substations, including single-line diagrams and general arrangement drawings.
• Review client documents, PPAs, interconnection agreements, and standards to identify requirements and risks.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, estimators, and vendors to ensure alignment of design, scope, and schedule.
• Maintain documentation of design iterations, decisions, and handoff materials.
• Support handoff to Preconstruction Engineering and ensure compliance with project requirements.
