Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to perform testing, commissioning and troubleshooting in substations, BESS and PV facilities. The role is remote with substantial travel to various job sites nationwide, supporting Technicians and Trainees as needed.

The position requires travel 75% and a background in electrical testing, with a focus on safety, quality and customer satisfaction. SOLV Energy promotes diversity and inclusion across all projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of electrician testing experience in substations or BESS yards.
• Ability to travel 75% of time.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work at remote locations in extreme weather conditions.
• CPR/First Aid training, JSA, Electrical Testing SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair activities in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment.
• Work remotely with travel to multiple sites.
• Assist Technicians and Trainees to complete jobs.
• Uphold SOLV Energy culture and inclusion.
