Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair activities in substations, BESS and PV facilities. The role is remote with heavy travel to varying jobsites required.

Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in the substation, BESS and PV facilities. Complete a job with the assistance of Technicians and Trainees. Uphold diversity and inclusion as an unconscious part of SOLV Energy culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of electrician testing experience in substations or BESS yards.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time.
• Effective verbal and written English communication.
• Able to work at remote locations in extreme weather.
• CPR/First Aid training.
• Job Safety Analysis.
• Electrical Testing SOPs.
