Rainey Property Management is seeking an experienced Affordable Housing Compliance Specialist to support a portfolio of affordable housing communities across Texas and Florida. This role ensures compliance with HUD Section 8, PBRA/PBV, and LIHTC program requirements, and requires hands-on experience administering these programs.

The ideal candidate will review income certifications, coordinate audits, and provide training to site teams while staying current on regulatory changes affecting HUD

Formación

• 3–5 years of affordable housing compliance experience.
• Experience with HUD Section 8, PBRA/PBV, and LIHTC compliance.
• Knowledge of HUD Handbook 4350.3, IRS Section 42, and TDHCA/FHFC monitoring.
• Ability to review income certifications and perform file audits.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure compliance with HUD Section 8, PBRA/PBV, and LIHTC requirements.
• Review income certifications, verifications of income and assets, rent calculations, and utility allowances.
• Monitor HUD Handbook 4350.3, IRS Section 42, and state agency requirements (TDHCA, FHFC).
• Support MORs and state and investor audits; coordinate responses.
• Conduct internal file audits and track deadlines, set-asides, and rent limits.
• Provide compliance guidance and training to site staff; maintain audit-ready records.
