Job summary

SupplyHouse.com is seeking a Safety Manager to lead safety, health, and workers' compensation across its fulfillment network. The role reports to the Senior Manager of Continuous Improvement and requires implementing safety programs, audits, and proactive culture to safeguard workers while supporting continuous improvement.

This remote role offers travel to centers and potential onsite work, with strong preference for proximity to Atlanta centers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
Approximately 5+ years in safety/compliance within a multi-site fulfillment or logistics environment.
Current CSP certification and CHMM certification.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workers' compensation laws.
Excellent communication, analytical and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Own and implement company-wide safety programs, policies, and training across all fulfillment centers, including driver safety.
Lead audits, risk assessments, and corrective actions to ensure OSHA and internal safety standards.
Promote a proactive safety culture through education, engagement, and accountability.
Partner with operations and catalog teams to ensure safe handling and storage of hazardous materials.
Oversee workers' compensation claims handling, reporting, and carrier coordination.
Analyze claim data and trends to present risks and opportunities to senior leadership.
Support case managers and act as escalation point for complex claims.
Ensure fulfillment operations comply with federal, state, and local safety regulations.
