Job summary

Addison Group is actively seeking an HRIS Analyst for a contract engagement with our higher education client in Washington, DC. The role focuses on maintaining HRIS functionality, data accuracy, and reporting while supporting HR and IT collaboration.

The ideal candidate will bring 3–5 years of HRIS experience, strong Workday reporting skills, and a service‑oriented approach to internal stakeholders. The assignment offers a flexible, potentially fully remote schedule and a 35‑hour workweek.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience working with HRIS systems.
• Experience with Workday reporting and business processes preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to data accuracy.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills to support diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor HR information systems to support daily operations and business requirements.
• Review processes and identify opportunities to improve system functionality, efficiency, and data quality.
• Assist with HR system security roles and user permissions.
• Develop, update, and maintain reports for HR partners and stakeholders.
• Perform data audits and validation to maintain accurate employee information.
• Participate in functional testing for system updates and changes.
• Collaborate with IT and HR to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements.
• Help maintain compliance with privacy standards and data handling requirements.
