Job summary

RR Digital is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Manager to oversee day-to-day HR operations and provide practical guidance to managers and staff across the company’s marketing, creative, client services, development and operations teams.

You will train all staff on HR policies, manage staff relations, lead onboarding and ongoing training, coordinate investigations, maintain job descriptions and the employee handbook, and partner with leadership and Finance on compensation, performance reviews

Qualifications

• At least 4 years HR experience, including 2 years as HR generalist/partner/manager
• Hands on across core HR areas: employee relations, performance management, operations and benefits
• Experience delivering HR training and tracking completion
• US employment knowledge and when to involve counsel or specialists

Responsibilities

• Own the staff HR training program.
• Design and deliver onboarding and recurring training on policies, harassment and discrimination prevention, reporting concerns and nonretaliation, confidentiality, leave and accommodations, and timekeeping.
• Train managers on interviewing, performance documentation, corrective action and escalation.
• Coordinate specialized content with qualified advisers.
• Maintain a training calendar, completion records and policy acknowledgments.
• Check understanding and provide refreshers when policies change.
• Partner with leaders on staffing needs and people risks.
• Carry out the HR plan and calendar agreed with leadership.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns.
• Conduct fair investigations and coach managers through conflict and separations.
• Maintain job descriptions, titles and levels and gather salary benchmarks.
• Administer performance reviews and development planning.
• Support hiring with recruiting resources and onboarding processes.
• Own and maintain the company handbook and updates with leadership and counsel.
• Manage regular reviews, version control, and employee acknowledgments.
• Keep HR data current and coordinate with payroll and benefits partners.
• Administer benefits enrollment and renewals with Finance.
• Track employee feedback, exit information and HR metrics and flag retention issues.
