Job summary

Signal & Strand is partnering with a US-based HR technology platform to recruit a Commercial Executive focused on net-new business. This fully remote role targets HR and TA leaders in mid-sized companies, driving from first touch to signed contract with a high-velocity outbound approach.

You will own the top of the funnel, craft your plan, run discovery calls, deliver product demos, and close deals with minimal day-to-day management. A hunter's mindset and strong CRM discipline are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience.
• Experience selling HR technology (ATS, job board, HRIS, payroll, or adjacent).
• Hunter mindset with a track record of opening new business.
• Self-starter who can manage their day and hit targets without heavy supervision.
• Comfort with high-volume outbound: cold calls, emails, LinkedIn."

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a pipeline of 100–400 employee companies through cold outreach, referrals, events, and network.
• Run discovery calls to connect hiring problems with platform solutions.
• Deliver product demos to HR/TA/ops leaders and involve product/tech when needed.
• Own the full sales cycle: qualify, propose, negotiate, and close.
• Hit monthly and quarterly new‑business targets and maintain accurate forecasts.
• Keep CRM up-to-date so pipeline stages and next steps are visible.
• Provide feedback from prospects to product and marketing teams.
• Hand off closed accounts to customer success with a clean transition.
