Job summary

YRCI seeks a full-time HR Specialist, Associate (Processing) to support its HR Remote Operations Center (HRROC™) in Reston, VA. The role processes federal personnel actions, maintains HRIS data, and ensures compliance with OPM and GPPA protocols, while supporting multiple federal agencies.

The position is fully remote, requiring attention to detail, data integrity, and proficiency in MS Office. A two-year federal HR processing background and a BA/BS degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires two (2) years of experience coding and processing a range of Federal personnel actions.
• BA/BS degree is highly preferred.
• Under supervision, assist more senior positions and perform duties.
• Must have deep understanding of Federal HR laws, rules and HR operations.

Responsibilities

• Follow GPPA and agency regulations; code and process SF-52s and related forms manually and electronically.
• Maintain online data in HRIS and related subsystems; interface with finance and OPM systems if needed.
• Transmit new hire forms to electronic Official Personnel Files (eOPF).
• Provide assistance on technical matters related to employee records.
• Assist with preparing reports and maintaining OPFs.
