Job summary

YRCI is seeking a full-time Staffing Specialist to support the HR Remote Operations Center (HRROC) in Reston, VA. The role is fully remote, with a focus on DEU recruitment actions for federal agencies and access to training from industry experts.

You will review job analyses, develop assessment tools, adjudicate qualifications, and mentor HR Assistants while collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality staffing services.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Current DE Unit (DEU) certification and recent DEU experience.
• 3 years of Federal operational staffing experience, with at least 1 year recent experience; includes job analysis, USAJobs postings, qualifications adjudications, and issuing selection certificates.
• Experience performing staffing duties with USAS Upgrade is required.
• Apply and interpret Federal HR laws, policies, and agency-specific procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• BS/BA degree highly preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain government-required security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support high-volume DE and MP recruitment activities for various agencies.
• Review and perform job analysis, develop assessment questionnaires, and document evaluation criteria per agency requirements.
• Review veterans' preference and applicant qualifications; provide written justification.
• Collaborate with team members, mentor and train HR Assistants, and support their development.
• Use automated staffing systems including USA Staffing as required.
• Maintain accurate examining case files per agency records retention schedules.
• Participate in hiring manager consultations and client meetings as directed by senior staff.
