Job summary

YRCI is seeking a Sr. Staffing Specialist to support the HR Remote Operations Center (HRROC), located in Reston, VA. The role is fully remote, serving as the primary contact for hiring managers and handling the full recruitment lifecycle within a federal context.

The ideal candidate will have 6 years of federal staffing experience (3 recent), USA Staffing (USAS) proficiency, and strong data integrity skills, with a background in DE and merit promotion processes. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain active DE Unit certification.
• Six years of federal operational staffing experience, three recent.
• Experience posting USAJobs announcements, qualifications adjudication, and issuing certificates.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for hiring managers within the designated area and manage the full recruitment lifecycle.
• Perform DE and Merit Promotion staffing activities including job analysis and certificate issuance.
• Attend client meetings, provide staffing guidance to agency program offices.
• Review team outputs, provide feedback and on-the-job training.
• Coordinate with Team Lead on workload reporting and surge period balancing.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of case files and tracking data per agency requirements.
