American Fidelity Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Corporate and Human Resources Intern to support pre-hire processes and onboarding for our Sales team. This remote role offers collaboration onsite as needed, and is ideal for students seeking hands-on experience in recruiting coordination and HR operations.

You will assist with background checks, track candidate progress, maintain records, and help with onboarding, while coordinating with hiring managers.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled full-time for internship.
• Available through December 2027 or longer.
• Remote role with optional onsite collaboration.
• Must be able to commute to Oklahoma City corporate office.
• Open to various majors.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Flexible availability within 15–20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Support the pre-hire process for Sales candidates, including background checks, tracking candidate progress, and maintaining accurate records
• Assist with onboarding activities to ensure a smooth and positive new hire experience
• Communicate with hiring managers and candidates to provide timely updates and administrative support
• Maintain data accuracy across systems and ensure all documentation is completed and organized
• Provide general administrative support to the HR and recruiting team as needed
