Job summary

Sharing Excess Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist, Recruiting to lead full-cycle recruitment across multiple hub markets, from warehouse roles to leadership positions.

You'll collaborate with the People Operations team, support onboarding, HRIS updates, and compliance tasks, and travel occasionally to hub locations. This role is ideal for a recruiter who wants to grow into generalist HR responsibilities while upholding our mission.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in full-cycle recruiting, ideally in nonprofit or logistics.
• Experience with high-volume hourly and salaried roles.
• Knowledge of onboarding, I-9, HRIS, and employee relations basics.
• Familiarity with hiring laws including fair chance and pay transparency.
• Experience recruiting in PA, NY, IL, MI.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruitment end to end across all hubs and roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role needs and criteria.
• Source candidates through job boards, partners, colleges, referrals.
• Manage high-volume hourly and professional searches; schedule interviews.
• Coach managers on structured, compliant interviewing.
• Maintain ATS/HRIS; update workflows and candidate status.
• Prepare offer letters with HR; coordinate onboarding handoff.
• Track metrics like time-to-fill and source of hire; report findings.
• Keep careers page current; align roles with budget and brand.
• Serve as backup HR Generalist; support onboarding and questions.
• Support compliance tasks and offboarding; participate in culture work.
