Job summary

Wealthspire Advisors LLC is seeking an HR Operations Generalist to deliver HR services across the organization, acting as the first contact for employee questions and supporting payroll, benefits, and lifecycle events. This role emphasizes compliance, policy governance, and process improvement in a fast-paced, remote work environment.

The ideal candidate will manage HR Service Delivery, oversee case management, and collaborate with HR partners to ensure accurate data and streamlined operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years in HR operations, shared services, or generalist roles.
• Experience with HRIS platforms (Workday preferred).
• Experience managing HR case management systems.
• Knowledge of payroll, benefits, and regulatory requirements.
• Some experience in an M&A environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary owner of HR ServiceNow ticket management, ensuring timely triage, categorization, assignment, and resolution of employee inquiries.
• Act as Tier 1 support for employee questions related to payroll, benefits, time off, leaves, and general HR policies.
• Advance complex inquiries to HR Business Partners, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, or other Centers of Excellence as appropriate.
• Monitor case metrics and identify trends or recurring issues requiring process improvement.
• Ensure service-level expectations are consistently met and detailed.
• Support large-scale lifecycle transactions such as organizational restructures, acquisitions, and offboarding waves.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication between HRIS, Payroll, Benefits, IT, and managers during major lifecycle events.
• Assist in validating data accuracy during bulk updates or organizational changes within Workday.
• Ensure uniform implementation of standardized lifecycle processes and documentation.
• Support the development, documentation, maintenance, and updating of HR policies and procedures.
• Partner with Legal and HR leadership to ensure policies align with regulatory requirements across relevant jurisdictions.
• Support regulatory changes systemically, and lead the testing of updates to Workday compliance changes.
• Ensure compliance documentation is audit-ready and centrally maintained.
• Support internal audits and compliance reporting as required.
• Offer operational assistance to the HR Operations Leader, HRIS Leader, Payroll Manager, and Benefits Manager, managing daily transactions within each of the functional areas.
• Support integrations, data governance, and reporting needs.
• Work with the Corporate Development team to support and coordinate the HR Integration process for newly closed acquisitions, working with Sellers and HR Operations team.
• Assist with documentation of SOPs and workflow improvements.
• Support the rollout and integration of HR systems and tools.
• Find opportunities to streamline service delivery and improve employee experience.
• Maintain high standards of data accuracy and confidentiality.
• Track and report on HR service metrics and process efficiency.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across HR operations.
• Ensure consistent communication and transparency across collaborator groups.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field

3–5+ years HR operations/shared services/generalist

Experience managing HR case management systems

1–2 years Workday or similar HRIS

Familiarity with Payroll and Benefits processes

M&A experience preferred
