Job summary

Ascend Wellness Holdings is seeking a Human Resources Manager - Retail to lead HR strategy across our dispensary network. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or related field.
• 5+ years of HR leadership in multi-site retail or manufacturing.
• Experience in unionized environments and labor relations.
• HR certifications (SHRM, HRCI, WorldatWork) a plus.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel (intermediate to advanced).
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Professionalism and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert HR consultation to assigned customer organizations on strategies and programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners on workforce planning, performance management, and organizational development.
• Collaborate with other HR professionals and line managers to develop effective solutions and strategies.
• Counsel on interpretation and application of policies and regulations for situation-specific issues.
• Facilitate resolution of HR concerns and advise on improvements.
• Support and/or lead basic HR process improvements and HR projects with change management principles.
• Provide thoughtful and tactful communications with diplomacy while maintaining confidentiality.
• Partner with VP of Human Resources on union matters.
• Other duties as assigned.
