Job summary

VA Claims Insider (VACI) is seeking a strategic, hands‑on Human Resources Manager to lead the HR team and scale the function across a 100+ employee distributed workforce. You will own talent acquisition, contracts, compensation bands, and payroll via BambooHR Payroll, while ensuring FLSA/EEO‑1 compliance and robust data security.

You will partner with the COO to optimize BambooHR and integrate Google Gemini across HR workflows, shaping policies, hiring, and communications at speed.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of progressive HR leadership or Senior HR Manager experience.
• Experience leading an HR team in a distributed remote workforce.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HR team, set KPIs, delegate workflows, and foster a high‑performing, service‑oriented HR department.
• Design and run performance review cycles, coach managers on interview compliance and labor law basics.
• Own multi‑state payroll, health benefits renewals, compensation banding, and executive reporting.
