Job summary

PuzzleHR is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to support HR practices and solutions for clients across the United States. This remote role collaborates with the HR team to implement programs and ensure compliance in line with client needs.

Under supervision, you will handle onboarding, investigations, EEO reporting, and HR data analysis while maintaining client relationships and delivering accurate HR services. Remote work is available nationwide with occasional onsite if needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures including compensation, classification, and employee development.
• Understanding of federal and state employment laws.
• Ability to manage and analyze HR data to support client initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing HR practices, procedures, and solutions for clients.
• Perform I-9 compliance and file audits as needed.
• Conduct exit and stay interviews and coordinate enrollment communications.
• Support onboarding, employee records maintenance, and SOP creation.
• Interact with clients on employee relations, compensation, benefits, and talent development.
