Job summary

PuzzleHR is seeking a fully remote HR Generalist to support clients across the United States under the supervision of the HR Supervisor.

You will help implement HR practices, perform I-9 compliance, conduct exit and stay interviews, onboard new employees, maintain records in HRIS, and partner with client teams to deliver accurate HR services.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), PHR/SHRM-CP preferred, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 2+ years of HR experience or 4+ years of equivalent experience.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll software systems.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of HR plans and practices for clients; may be onsite if needed.
• Perform I-9 compliance and file audits.
• Conduct exit and stay interviews.
• Coordinate onboarding and employee records management.
• Maintain HR data in HRIS and support HR projects.
• Interact with clients on employee relations, compensation, benefits, and talent development.
• Assist in investigations and policy compliance.
• Prepare SOPs and contribute to process improvements.
