Job summary

InteLogix is seeking an HR Generalist to support designated geographic regions with a strong emphasis on California compliance. The role covers employee relations, onboarding, training, policy implementation, and employment law adherence.

Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor's in HR or related field with 5+ years in HR, including California-specific experience. Remote work is available for qualified applicants; strong communication and discretion are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• 5+ years of HR generalist experience supporting California employees, including CA wage/hour rules, CFRA/PDL leave, PAGA exposure, and California compliance.
• Working knowledge of compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and employment laws.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer HR plans and procedures; maintain employee handbook and policies.
• Develop department goals and systems; participate in policy implementation.
• Conduct new employee orientations; write and revise job descriptions.
• Handle employee relations counseling and exit interviewing.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings; maintain records in HRIS.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Support performance management processes and disciplinary actions.
• Conduct HR investigations and provide recommendations.
