Job summary

InteLogix is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support California operations in a remote setting. The role partners with senior HR management to administer policies, manage employee relations, and ensure CA wage-hour and leave compliance across designated regions.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in HR or related field with 5+ years in HR generalist roles, familiarity with HRIS, and strong communication and organizational skills. PHR/SHRM-CP preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• 5+ years of HR generalist experience supporting California employees, including CA wage/hour rules, CFRA/PDL leave, PAGA exposure, and California compliance.
• Knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including compensation, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal/state employment laws.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer HR plans and procedures; develop and maintain employee handbook and policies.
• Participate in setting department goals, objectives and systems.
• Conduct new employee orientations; write and revise job descriptions as needed.
• Handle employee relations counseling and exit interviewing.
• Maintain HRIS records and compile reports from the database.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws.
• Support performance management processes including disciplinary actions and PIP.
• Conduct HR investigations and provide recommendations.
