We seek a Human Resources Generalist to support designated regions with a focus in California, handling employee relations, onboarding, training, performance management, and policy implementation.

The role requires ~5+ years of HR generalist experience, including California wage/hour rules, CFRA/PDL, and PAGA exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or relevant experience.
• ~5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• ~5+ years of HR generalist experience supporting California employees, including CA wage/hour rules, CFRA/PDL leave, PAGA exposure, and California compliance.
• ~ Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including compensation, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and employment laws.
• ~ Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• ~ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• ~ Experience with HRIS systems.

Responsibilities

• Support employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, affirmative action and employment law compliance.
• Maintain HRIS records and compile reports.
• Investigate HR issues and provide recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
