Job summary

InteLogix is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support our US operations with a primary focus on California employment law, wage and hour rules, and compliance. The role is remote and requires partnering with senior HR management to administer policies, onboarding, and employee relations.

You will manage HRIS records, help with performance management, and conduct investigations, while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or relevant experience.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a generalist role.
• 5+ years supporting California employees with CA wage/hour, CFRA/PDL, PAGA, and compliance.
• Experience with multiple HR disciplines and knowledge of employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Administer various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
• Participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
• Conduct new employee orientations; write and revise job descriptions as necessary.
• Handle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
• Participate in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
• Maintain human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
• Support performance management processes, including disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
• Conduct HR investigations as needed and provide appropriate recommendations.
