Job summary

InteLogix seeks a Human Resources Generalist to support California operations and remote teammates. The role partners with senior HR management to ensure compliant employee relations, onboarding, performance management, and policy implementation.

You will manage HRIS records, maintain compliance with wage-and-hour rules, CFRA/PDL, and leave programs, and contribute to training and policy development across designated regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field (or relevant experience).
• 5+ years progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• 5+ years HR generalist experience supporting California employees and CA compliance.
• Working knowledge across compensation, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, performance management, and employment laws.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS systems.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer HR plans and procedures; develop and update employee handbook and policies.
• Participate in setting department goals and systems.
• Conduct new employee orientations; write and revise job descriptions.
• Handle employee relations counseling, outplacement, and exit interviews.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
• Maintain HRIS records and generate reports.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.
• Support performance management processes, including corrective actions.
• Conduct HR investigations and provide recommendations.
